2007 NCAA College Football Season Heats Up
Time to root for your school's colors.
As the 2007 NCAA college football season warms up, we will probably see some powerhouse teams from last season who come in this year merely a shell of it's former form. Of course, we'll also see great teams continue to be great and bad teams continue to struggle.
With that said, let's put the would-be's and the has-been's in the 2007 NCAA college football season in a face-off and see how one compares to the other.
The ACC continue to have their problems playing football because of one reason, no one can play quarterback. The only real QB in the conference is Matt Ryan of the Boston College Eagles, and he doesn't even play as good as the top quarterbacks in college.
Across the ACC is probably the best conference in all of college football. That's the Big 12. And just because there are three teams in the said conference carrying the name Texas, no one even dared to tell them otherwise. The Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Texas A&M Aggies and the Texas Longhorns, will all probably be finishing strong this season.
Of course, that's until they run into the USC Trojans.
Speaking of the No.1 ranked team in all of college football, the Trojans come in this season with probably the top candidate to win the Heisman, John David Booty. And as hot as the Trojans are right now, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are probably THE team who downgraded the most.
They won't be having Brady Quinn nor Jeff Samardzija, or even the defense they had last season. Of course, they're in for yet another tough schedule that will probably give them a rather long season ahead.
