The Florida Gators are still your NCAA College Basketball champions until somebody beats them in the coming March Madness bracket battles.

The Florida Gators may not be the same team that won last year's NCAA College Basketball championship, but they're getting there. The Florida Gators STILL have a decent chance of making it and win their third-straight NCAA basketball title.

The Florida Gators were stuck in somewhat of a dry spell last season, losing three of four games, one at Vanderbilt, another in Louisiana and yet another in Tennessee.

But still, they became champions of the world for the second-straight year.

With the 2008 NCAA college basketball season still a few months away, you can bet your ass the defending NCAA College Basketball champions won't just stand there and let another team take their title away from them.

With a spot to the coming 2008 March Madness bracket tournament on the line, expect the Florida Gators to come out swinging. If they're not as talented this coming season as they were the last two years, expect the Gators to go down in the blaze of glory.

But of course, we're talking about the Florida Gators here. And I don't expect them to go down and out of the coming NCAA college basketball season anytime soon. It's Gator season for crying out loud and the college hoops season is that time of the year when the Gators simply BRING IT.

Not to mention the fact that the Florida Gators always come up with their best basketball when the MADNESS of March arrives.

They are 16-1 in March, dating as far back to 2005. They are STILL the two-time defending NCAA College Basketball champions. These guys will definitely create some noise when it's time to play ball.
