Bet on MLB Baseball
Betting on baseball is a fun way to enjoy America's favorite pastime. There are a wide variety of available bets and during every single day of the season there are games to play. There's no stop to the action.
Betting on the final result of the game is the favorite play for most bettors. The odds for straight bets are posted each morning in a moneyline format. The visiting team is always listed on top and the starting pitchers are named next to each team. Most sportsbooks allow the bettor to specify if they want the bet to be an action bet or a listed bet. Selecting a bet as listed means that if before the game starts either of the named pitchers for the game are changed the bet is called off and all moneys are refunded.
Action means that the bettor does not mind if the pitchers change and that he will accept any recalculated moneyline due to the new pitcher or pitchers. Action bets are the general default and over 90% of bets are placed that way. Other pitching options are bettor's and opposing but not many sportsbooks offer this online. These mean that the bettor chooses exactly which pitcher he wants to bet with or against.
